FHF’s first scholarship student
is off and massaging following her
March 29 graduation.
On March 29, Jennifer Hartley of
Martinez, Georgia became Flicker Of
Hope Foundation’s first scholarship
graduate. An exciting graduation ceremony
was held at French Market Grille West
in Augusta for the Augusta School
of Massage’s Spring 2004 class.
The evening revealed the closeness
of the graduates who had worked closely
during the last six months as they
studied anatomy and perfected their
techniques for relieving stress and
soothing aching muscles.
At the beginning of the formal event,
the Director Leigh Ann Keels recognized
Jennifer as the most inspiring student,
citing the many challenges Jennifer
overcame to receive her degree. A
rousing standing ovation indicated
that the entire school concurred!
This month, Jennifer passed the National
Certification test and soon will begin
to practice professionally. We are
extremely proud of this wonderful
woman and wish her a long and happy
career in a rewarding profession.
